A basic overview of how Facebook Advertising works

The Facebook Advertising platform is the most comprehensive, detailed, but cost effective way for businesses to get their message in front of their consumers and potential consumers.

The following diagrams are a very basic explanation of how Facebook advertising works, however there is a lot more to it than what is shown in the diagrams and that is why there are people like myself who have spent hours using and learning the platform to be able to save the time of others having to do so. I have been using the platform form for over 2 years now and am still learning something new every day as it is forever evolving and adapting to the current climate.

Facebook pages in this day and age are a must, its as simple as that. When you set up a page it then gives you the ability to put your message in front of the 2 billion plus daily users and this is how...

>Step one- the advertisers goal is reach

>Step two- they have created a target persona of their ideal customer (left)

Between these steps is where you go into detail about how much you want to spend, when, where, and more.

>Step four- Facebook shows the ads and charges you accordingly (right)

Once your ad campaign has finished then you start looking at all the data collected and displayed in the campaign dashboard. Analysis of your ads is a number of blog posts in itself but is an imperative part to making your next paid ads successful.
